Scroll Speed increase

Ronnie on the live chat was great with this but I would like to make a request for change (RFC).

I have low vision clients and we are using DS to create a large text scroll so they can read text messages sent to them.   

The issue is that the larger the text size is the slower the scroll moves.  The slider for speed is not "long enough" and needs to have a faster setting (RFC).  Once we get above 6 or 8 inch tall letters the scroll speed becomes so slow that it is frustrating for them or even not usable.

Could it be changed that the speed option be a numeric box like text size is / and or / the slider made to have a higher fast side?

also:

I have retail clients - If I could create a timeline with a huge horizontal scroll that moved quickly then I could market DS as an alternative to an expensive LED/dot matrix window signs.   We could have a nice background with 10 inch letters moving promptly across the center of the clients TV. Simple and would be very easy to market.

edit:  I have also noticed that the text size box also seems to have a maximum size of 720 - We can make the letters about 6 or 8 inches tall on a 32 inch TV, nice and big but we have clients that need even bigger text (another RFC). 

In a nut shell we need great big freaking huge text scrolling across the screen at a quicker pace so our visually impaired clients can read at a normal adults reading speed.

this will be addressed later on this year when we start releasing the new Touch based components, which are GPU powered.
They will have new options such as larger fonts, smoother GPU scrolling and more.

I am making business decisions based on this so for clarity:

What is the estimated time for the upgrade?

Will it have faster scrolling speeds as well as larger text size?  - Scrolling speed is the most important feature for my vision impaired clients.  I have one that needs 15 in tall bright green letters on a black background and they need it to scroll at a normal reading speed.

Lastly - Will this new enhancement run on your lower end equipment such as the droid 90's that you used to sell?

I was told a few weeks back that this had be forwarded to development for review.  Is there any update on this request?  I now have nearly 30 vision impaired clients that use a large font RSS horizontal scroll to read text messages.  They love the feature but hate the slow scroll speeds.

I am revisiting this request for change. 

I sat with a lady today who has macular degeneration and when we increased the font size to something she could just barely see the text scrolled so slowly that she cried because of the frustration.

Our solution allows people who are almost completely blind to read text messages right on their TV's.  This is a good thing.  This is a needed thing.  For many it is the last option available to still be able to receive and read text messages.

We need to be able to increase the scrolling speed - these people need to have the scrolling speed increased.  PLEASE!

Ronnie on the chat is awesome - he is still working with me to find a solution.  He is a valuable asset to MS.

thanks for the heads up.
you will be happy to know we are developing a new set of components including tickers that are part of the new (IDS) Interactive Digital Signage that you will be able to take advantage of for your needs.

These components (GPU powered) are set to begin releasing at the end of 2016.

Will "tickers" be able to be populated by an RSS feed?  If not then they will not solve my issue.

I take a text message, script it into an RSS feed, and then use DS to display it as a horizontal scroll across the center of the clients TV.

Any possible way to just change the upper speed limit on the RSS resource? It should just be a change to one line of code.
