mediaDroidX (Android 4.4) browser utilization

Is mediaDroidX using the native browser to handle web component? Also, if it's using the native browser, is Chrome now being used? So far I've gotten conflicting answers.

According to release notes for Android 4.4 (KitKat) in additional features it states: Chrome web view | Applications that embed web content now use Chrome to render web components accurately and quickly.

it is using the native browser yes... but it is not Chrome, but rather google default browser that ships with that version of Android.

By far the fastest mobile browser Ive used  Still had to resize the pics because I takethem at the bhighest resolution, but they loaded very very quickly.
