Signage Player not displaying on Ubuntu
« on: February 14, 2010, 09:08:00 PM »
Hi,
I am trying to run the desktop SignagePlayer on ubuntu (running a version of eeebuntu). I can get the SignageStudio application to work. When I try and run the SignagePlayer application I can see that there is a 'SignagePlayer' process running but I cannot see the SignagePlayer window. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SignagePlayer but have had no luck.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Seems there is a video on everything. I should have looked at the video entitled 'Linux Installation under the 'Advanced' heading. newbielink:http://www.mediasignage.com/html/signage_video.html [nonactive]

Very good tutorial. The signage player now works as expected. Thanks.
