Mute background music, when video with sound out

I have a some movies in campaign (mp4 with sound), and backgorund music. When start playining sound on background and sound in video is overlay (playing together).
can u do function, mb in hight priority campagin, it will be mute (mb pause with crossfade) background music, and when video ends - continue playing background music.

The background Music is independent of the timeline and used to set just background playlist.

I am thinking that if you are able to create your videos and music with Youtube, you can manipulate the Youtube playlist volume to get what you need at the moment. The video for the music can be "Off the Screen" so only the sound is heard while the images you want show. Just an idea.

Now  i testnig this software, for our puprpose is very important that programm in particular campaign with hight priority can be interrupt background music too.
For example: We have a chain of restaurant, in which we have background music and background video that's work independed, but also we have a commerical campaigns (audio & video in 1 file), which must interrupt background music and background video.
So we sync this function, can be very usefull not only for us, but for all the customers of this programm.

Dont use the background music. Create a timeline that will have the background video and the background music (Need to be in flv or mp4) playing together. Create another timeline with ads and then try using events to interrupt.

Hello,
I am also looking for a solution of this problem.

We want to add a background music, but we have to mute it during video with audio.
We don't want to set events for every video with sound. We're looking for some easy to implement solution that will work automatically.

Has anyone already solved this problem?
