SWF doesn't play XML-Content from Server

Hi everybody.

We're trying to receive XML-based information located on our server with the help of an SWF-File. The thing is, that it works out as long as we run it locally from our computer (iMac 2009). As soon as we upload it to Signage Studio and play it with the AirPlayer it doesn't receive the information. The strange thing is, that it runs on the player preview. We already installed a crossdomain.xml on our server, which allows every of your domains to receive the information.

After installing the Flash-Debugger and a debugger in our flash-file following Security-Error occurs:
Error #2048: Security sandbox violation: XXXX.swf cannot load data from host XXXX.

Do you know what to do?

yes, this was fixed in 1.9 with a new flag called "Allow trust".
I can give you a 1.9 private build in several days. Once upgraded to 1.9 all will work fine.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'd love a heads up on 1.9. Do you guys fire off emails when upgrades are available?

Yes, we will send an email, post on Forum and Twitt on Twitter when 1.9 private release is available, which should be any day now.... We still are closing a few loose ends with 1.9.
