Suggested hardware - tried and tested

I am looking for hardware that is small and compact and not too expensive.
Can anyone suggest hardware that has been tried and tested?

I live in Europe so importing the DigitalSignage media player could potentially cost quite a bit with the taxes etc.

Kaiboer F4.  The chinese rom is bad and not set up to use all of the storage.

We did a custom Rom for ours work well for a "budget player" - don't expect the same transitions and smooth RSS scrolling you will see on a more powerful player.
