Very small fonts in Linux environment with the Blackbox

Hello,

I'm using the Blackbox 100 and when I want to access the Linux OS for configuration purposes from my presentation screen, I get very very small characters which makes it almost impossible to read.

A couple weeks ago, I configured the wireless connection following the Blackbox User's Manual. The right click on the desktop would give me a very small menu where I could guess where the "Task Manager" entry was. Then the top panel would show, also very small, and it's only when I launch the first window that it would switch to a normal readable size.
But lately it's been all different. A right click on the desktop opens a menu where the "Task Manager" entry is missing. It this menu, I found a way to change the style for something with a normal size, but anything I launch from this menu still opens with very small characters. Also, I can't find where to launch the top panel again like before.

Can you tell me how to change the windows style so I can set it to show bigger characters, or how to get the top panel back with the old behavior?

When you run the command to change the fonts size (just like you did before), make sure you run it as root.

 sudo root

and save the config, reboot and see if it saves it.

Hello Eddie, thank you for your answer.

I didn't use any command to change the font size, it used to change by itself when the first widow was opening (like if it was loading a different window manager theme at that time with a normal font size).

The problem is that the right click menu has change for some reason and I can't find how to get the top panel back or where in the new menu to change the font size, for every window that I launch from that menu is unreadable thus making it almost impossible to configure anything.

I think I could change the font size through the gnome theme manager but I can't find it with the new menu, though if I could get the top panel back I'd know where to look.

Run the gnome-panel.old which will bring it back (from the command line)

Unfortunately, the "gnome-panel.old" command gives me nothing.

However, from the right-click menu (I guess the blackbox menu) I could launch the Gnome Control Panel, and in there, if I click on a button like for instance the "Appearance" one, the default theme loads right away and the fonts are back to normal. I don't have to change anything else and it stays like this until the next reboot.

I am not sure how to save the settings but you can send the BLACKBOX for a replacement.
We have a 1 day turn around.
