Has anyone tried any of these with SignagePlayer/SignageController?   Any thoughts or preferences?

Im running a test signage player an 809IV at the moment (on an LG brand TV) that I bought on Aliexpress with a mini-keyboard for about $60. Im still testing but overall it works well. Im new to Signage Studio so still finding my feet. Video runs very well on the dongle. Ive had one or two inexplicable crashes but it runs for hours fine.

I downloaded an app from Google Play to automatically start the player on boot up. Unfortunately (the reason I registered for the forum) you cannot force the player into full screen mode so I've got the bar along the bottom and WIFI icon and time on the top right. At the moment I would have to manually set the player to full screen or else try to root the 809IV which I'd like to avoid. Ive spent hours looking into whether you can remotely connect to the 809IV with apps like Airdroid but you will get a message saying mirroring is not supported on that device without rooting it.

I believe the mediaDROID android stick may allow you to set the player to full screen remotely without rooting it - Ill clarify this in the existing thread with admin.

Subsequent to my post above I did find a way of forcing the MK to fullscreen on boot up. There's an app on Google Play called "Hide System Bar (Full Screen)" which does this on the  MK809IV. I also have an app that automatically starts the signage player when the system boots along with "Hide system bar".

Works well.

I am using an MK809IV as well. It runs for hours and displays as it should. Would you be willing to share the name of the app you use to run it automatically in full screen? Thank you.
