Issue displaying PNG files

Until January 23 I had 12 Mediadroid 90's displaying URL's that would cycle through 6 different screens.  2 of the screens would show a bar graph or a pie chart.  After the 23rd, these 2 screens stopped displaying properly the PNG files that were used to display the bar graph and pie chart.

After some packet sniffing we found that the the device was not resolving DNS properly.  As nothing changed on the web server side, we figured something changed in the device, as there was an update that came out around the 23rd.  I use servername.domain.com/site/path/to/data format in the Signage Studio.

Our fix is to hard code the IP address of the webserver as part of the code that displays the PNG files.  This has resolved the issue for now.  I prefer not to hard code an IP address in the code though.

Would someone be able to confirm this issue?

Did you repost this or did someone else post about a similar issue? I remember reading about someone having an issue displaying images which began suddenly around January 22nd/23rd. That thread has been removed for some reason.

I also noticed an issue with the HTML component that stopped pulling images in our custom Twitter application on the morning of the 23rd. I still contacted Live Chat and they told me it was because Twitter changed their API. I believed them, but when I saw someone else had a similar issue starting on the same date (again, thread now gone), I began to have my doubts.

You are not alone, but it seems they don't want this issue to be heard.
