Help? Computer Build for 2-3 monitors

I want to know if what I'm building is too much or too little for what I need.
I need to have my digital signage to just run on two monitors and with images cycling through.

Motherboard: ASUS B85M-G R2.0 LGA 1150 Intel  $80
Processor: Intel Core i5-4590    $200
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GT 740 Superclocked Single Slot 4GB $100

Windows: 8.1? 7? Dont know if itll make a difference

Honestly, I'm questioning the entire build because I'm not completely sure of what I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All monitors will run on the same campaign.

What is the content that you are driving... Does it have too much of Screen divisions and RSS etc???

I presume Corei3 instead of i5 and 4Gb instead of 8 GB should be sufficient, If the inbuilt board graphics can run then the graphic card could be eliminated .. I have not used that Motherboard so u need to check..

It should have at least 5 screen divisions, and image swapping.

I dont mean to make it harder to for you, but is there a better build you would recommend then? I'm getting the feeling this is too much for what I want to achieve.

Maybe an Intel NUC or Gigabyte BRIX based on a i5? That will be a lot cheaper and more easy to configure. If they are just still images I think an i3 might even do the trick, but I don't know about 2 screens. Do both screens play different content? The setup in your first post is definately overkill.

I see, well Both screens will play different content. So your staying  stay out of graphic cards and go for inbuilt motherboard ones?
Would you say the water cooler is still too much?

A GPU is not built into the motherboard but in the processor. You have for expample AMD's APUs and the Intel i3, i5, i7 etc with build in HD4400/HD5000 graphics or something like that. Watercooling is something for gaming PC's or overclockers. I don't think you will need a third party cooler at all, the stock one will be just fine. Maybe even a passive cooler will be better, since that won't have any moving parts, which enhances the durability of your system.

I think it's better for you to just buy the MediaBox-300 from MS, because that one will run your content without any problem and supports dual screen. My advice would be to not build your own setups if your not totally sure about how to do it. The MediaBox-300 is a proven device and should do the trick.

Hey guys, Thanks for all your help. I'm back with a new build. This time i took away the cooler and went without a graphics card. I think this should work but I would love some input. How does this look?

From what I've gathered from what you guys told me. The intel cpu with the motherboard (providing 1 hdmi + 1 dvi + 1 vga, and Intel HD Graphics 4600) should be able to produce into two monitors. My signage should be 1 presentation, stretched into two monitors, with multiple divisions along the way, and With only still images (but images will changing).

I'm still worrying about the i3, but hopefully I can get some more feedback about my new build.
Lastly, I'm really thinking of getting the GTX 750. I'm not sure if there would be a noticeable improvement between the 1GB and the 2GB in what I wish to accomplish.
