Access resources from a campaign
« on: February 17, 2015, 07:54:13 AM »
We use the digital signage software to power our billboards. The only content that we use is images, and our campaigns are essentially slideshows. Due to using mobile wireless cards in our deployments we have inconsistent internet connections resulting in broken images in the default player. I was thinking of building a player from javascript but I don't know how to grab all the images for a specific timeline. Is there a way to do this? Can someone direct to where the open source player does this? I don't know anything about flash or action script, but I might be able to get some clues. Or do you know of a way I can access flash variables from javascript so that maybe we could use the embedded player to accomplish this somehow? Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated...

As a total as3 noob how do I even run the signageplayer-core? I have a lot of experience with other languages just not anything flash. Where do I start if I was going to compile it as is?
