Webkit & Javascript & SVG
« on: November 19, 2014, 10:33:03 AM »
Webkit in Studio currently does not support SVG and some Javascript (JCHART specifically)

Any chance of an update to the browser HTML 5 component in Studio?

* I can't use firefox for the application in question due to rotating content and variable content *

Thank you.

I second this. Frustrated by the limitations of the HTML component, especially when trying to run Javascripts. Please make the HTML component more robust. There would be so many more possibilities.

The HTML component is very, very limited at the moment.
I figured out what it is able to play exactly, check this topic: http://script.digitalsignage.com/forum/index.php/topic,4788.0.html

ADMIN -
Any potential for integrating a chrome-like open source kit and updating this component to the modern web from within the application?

Admin - is this a near future or far future plan? Any projected timeline?
