Lite Label Text
« on: August 07, 2014, 10:13:09 AM »
When placing a text box into a scene a few irregularities occur. Should you center the text box on the pattern, add the text, then select the center text option for the text, the text does center relative to itself but favors the left side of the text box. In order to truly center the text on the scene you have to move the text box to the right.

After you enter the text in the text box, should you elect to increase the size of the text box to include more text, the existing text scales along with the increased size of the box. You then have to delete text and start over, rescaling the new text back to the original size.

When typing text into a label text box in a scene, the new text does not show up until you press the enter key. In other areas, like placing a text box directly on a channel, the text is updated as you type.

While creating a scene, adding text to a text box seems to make the box dimension expand horizontally, until you hit the enter key. The box expands to fit the text instead of the text word-wrapping to fit the box.

yes these are all by design due to some limits of the underline framework used in Scene editor.
for label to update, you can also remove focus from input.
alignment in text is displayed as per the total length of longest line (again due to the underline framework), but the good news is that in SignagePlayer it will display all the way to the right / center / left as expected.
thx for the feedback, appreciated.
