Is it possible to create a separate application, say a button that loads in a browser, that could control certain elements within Studio? I'm familiar with the events component, but what I'm wanting to do is give my clients the ability to restart SignagePlayer without having access to Studio: a simple 'Restart' button in their client portal.

Obviously some programming would be required, but is this idea even possible with they way that Studio and Player are built?

sure, we support the events through JavaScript as well... so you can send externally.

Are you saying that the functionality I'm looking for could be done through the Events Component?

Can you point me in the direction of the relevant source code?
