Mediaplayer 90 limited capacity
« on: August 01, 2014, 11:53:41 AM »
I am running 7 locations with the mediaplayer 90 - so far, 2 of the devices have locked up where I have to force the app to stop, then clear the content and have the device redownload the content.  I have 4 timelines in the campaign.  One is a 24 MB video, Two is a 10 slide presentation with a maximum of 70K per slide, Three is a quad split of weather, Four is a split of  Media Rss of CNET update and RSS feed.

How do I tell what size the total campaign is?  The mediaplayer 90 is a 2GB device - I notice when the device locks up and when I go into settings to clear the device, it is showing 1.8GB is size.

No where in the tutorial does it mention to be careful of the amount of content nor does it warn of possible lockup of the device or how to correct the issue.

the device will auto remove cached content, but if you run a large presentation that exceeds several gigs, I recommend looking into AD-150 or mediaBOX-100

will either of these fit behind the TV if the TV is wall mounted?
Also, when does the device auto remove cached content?
