iDisplay by Outform
« on: July 31, 2014, 07:23:18 AM »
We are trying to use 15.5" i Display touch screen tablets but after entering username and password the tablet just shows the home page wit all the apps. We get this issue using the touch screen and also when we use a Bluetooth usb keyboard.
Thank you

Are you using kiosk mode?

I was planning to use them for kiosk mode but I cannot get to set up the player. I crashes as soon as I touch the login button.

Is this latest tablet UIT215? That player has a RK 3188 quadcore and jellybean which should support. Is there anyway you can reduce the resolution to 1280X1020 and attempt, because default the player is on 1980X1080. Also do a clean resinstall, ensure all the files of signage are removed

I am using the UIT 215B-B06. It doesn't have the option to change the screen resolution.
How much memory does the player require to run?
Thank in advance

It is very tough to make out the cause of problem in androids as they are not standard. As far as i know on the 3rd party devices the resolution support is an issue, it keeps crashing if the resolution is 1920X1080, this is my experience, cant guarantee if the same happens on other devices

What was the result of this? Are iDisplays functional with MS?
