Any "Smart" HDMI switcher
« on: July 15, 2014, 04:39:45 PM »
I need to remotely switch HDMI feeds like from signage to some live sporting event per-say.
Is this possible to do remotely (without a remote) meaning I am in a remote location.
Perhaps some HDMI switcher with an interface that hooks up to a computer?
I know some Signage monitors support TV switching with a scheduler but I need to do it remotely, plus the live events change times not at consistent times.

Anyone have any solutions?

Tx in advance.

Check out this product : http://www.ambery.com/4in4out4x4hd.html
Read through the Advanced RS232 serial control. These are expensive  i think.

I can recommend the Extron HDMI- switch "SW2 HDMI" with HDCP

Multiple control options including front panel buttons, RS-232, IR, contact closure, and auto-input switching

have fun
