HTML page with Javascript doesn't seem to load
« on: April 14, 2014, 03:03:48 AM »
Hi,

I have been testing the HTML component and noticed that my page with javascript does not seem to work.
We have a CSV file where we store the WLAN Guest network keys for every week of the year, example:

1,KEY1
2,KEYSECOND
3,KEYNUMBERTHREE
...

I have created a HTML file which uses Javascript to read the CSV file, checks the current date and displays the correct key for that week. It works like a charm in Internet Explorer, but does not seem to work in Digital Signage. Apparantly I can't post my code here, because it contains an external link (it doesn't tho), so I will post it on Pastebin and link you to it http[://]pastebin.com/ScGqEtWE

Can you tell me if this should be working or not? If not, how can I solve my problem?
Thanks in advance.

When you're loading the HTML component what do you see in studio and player?

Sounds like a neat system, I'll help you get it fixed.
