resolution of preview versus player/deployed PC
« on: August 06, 2009, 08:08:45 AM »
As I undersand it, when you PLAY a campaign, despite what resolution you set for your screen, the player (Web or AIR) will expand the campaign to fit the size of the screen it is playing on.

Question is - can this be turned off? I am developing/testing on a machine that has different resolution that my deplyment PC, so I don't want to use the resolution of my test PC - I want to have it keep the resolution of the defined screen/deployed PC, so I can see how everything is lining up.

Thanks for any help.

At this point you can turn if off.
If you use software like VMware, you can emulate another PC and set it to the desired resolution.

Ok. Thank you for the reply. I assume you meant "at this point you cannot turn it off".

As I play a campaign made on 1024x768, on my 1440x900 display, it does not expand at all... there's a blank space corresponding the difference...
