Dynamically create timelines from user uploads
« on: February 21, 2014, 12:03:11 PM »
I am wondering if there is a way to have someone enter some information and upload content in a webpage and then use javascript or php to automatically generate a timeline that may be previewed?
What I would like is to have visitors enter some text information that will populate a title screen that is always otherwise the same (the layout/background is constant). Then I would like the user to be able to choose the number of scenes in the timeline (up to 5) and post one image for each of these scenes.  Following these scenes would be additional screens that are once again populated by user-entered text. Is there a way to generate a timeline automatically from visitor uploads, and if so could someone point me in the right direction?

Okay. Thanks, I will take some time and look into that. I may need a little more direction down the line, so I may follow up on this thread, but thank you for the quick reply!
