I have tried the SignageStudio and Android Player for two days, here is the issues I found: (Note that I am using only on full screen with only one channel content assigned. And my Platform is HTC New One)
1. The transition between each video clip is not smooth. It come with black screen for a while and the starting of next video always shown the last screen of previous video at the beginning. I tried to change the resolution of Screen Type from 1920*1080 to 1280*768, the black screen is improved, but still visible to the viewers. Furthermore, I also checked the Transition box shown on the Performance of Stations, it seem no any visible effect at all.
2. The managment of Resources is not smart enough. Need lots of tries to carefully set the Duration of Timeline, Output Timeline Screen and Channel content. If it is not properly setted, mix audio from two video clips and abnomal Repeat of the Resources will happen. I have tried using one Timelin with multiple Channel Resources and multiple Timeline with only one Resource assigned, but it seem same issue happened.
3. When cashing the content from Server to Player, it shall not playback the hesitate video and running bar to the viewers. Suggest to cover by your logo screen until the cashing of all contents completed.
4. Suggest to have the remote control function of SignageStudio to keep Android Player from entering into sleeping mode.
Looking forward to have above issues fixed or any work around suggestions.
