Anyone using Celeron Processor?
« on: December 16, 2013, 01:29:51 AM »

Has anybody had any luck using Celeron processor.
We've found several small form factor pc's with fairly high spec's at relatively good prices.
But I've seen that it's not recommended.

yes.  we render our videos out as 10Mbps h.264 1080p24 and they play back great on first gen Celeron NUC.  Only minor issue I've noticed is having video + ticker.  Scrolling ticker slightly stutters compared to i3 or higher chips.  It's not bad and a regular everyday person probably wouldn't notice it.
