Windows
« on: August 18, 2009, 07:16:04 AM »
I tried Windows XP on my first deployment. So far so good, but I heard that Windows XP media center is more stable than regular XP. Is that true? should I use media center instead?
Thanks,

LM

XP, XP Embedded and XP Windows Media are all 100% stable for several reasons.
They have been out for a LONG time and as of Service Pack 2 and 3, XP (all versions) are rock solid.
Also, our AIRPlayer is a very light application and does not use many of the Libs of the OS which reduces the dependency on OS calls.
So use windows with FULL confidence.
We will soon have a version of Windows XP Embedded in our Players.

Regards,

Alon.
