I gotta admit, when i first installed the airPlayer and this program called 'watchDog' was getting installed too, all my alarms went off.
While I may understand that the 'watchDog' utility simply periodically 'pings' the Player to check its status, and if its not running, to relaunch it.
Others are most definitely not going to understand this; and the others i refer to are my potential customers.
NO ONE wants a 'watchdog' program installed onto their computer. Period.
So it makes it all the more frustrating when I have to explain that its not a watchdog in the sense that most interpret it to be, when it could soo easily be avoided by renaming it to something more application specific.
How about: PlayerAutoLaunch, ChannelWatch, PlayerGuardian or anything that better identifies the utility with what it actually does.
'WatchDog' could be any general utility, and as such, is interpreted to be an activity watchdog monitor. Not Good.
