Is there a way to enter adhoc text? For example the Receptionist needs to enter a Welcome message for a person that is to be dislayed on the screen, Or is there a way i can make entry on a notice board  I donot want them to use Airstudio.

Sure, use the RSS Component and select [Embed] from the drop down and click on the + sign to add your text messages under the RSS Property datagrid.

It was not available on the Custom; it is on the embeded. Here i need to use the airstudio, without using the air studio is it possible? I dont want them to give access through airstudio s they might change the layout and it need not loop , it can be just like a label.

Correct. embedded.
If you want custom content, use [Custom] and point it to your own rss feed.
Develop a custom web based web site that people can add/modify the XML rss feed which is displayed in your signage through your own custom RSS.
