Ability to move and group channels
« on: April 08, 2013, 06:42:55 PM »
Here's a suggestion that I'd like to see added:

It'd be great to move and put in order (or even group!) a series of channels together.  For example I have a client with multiple locations.  Each location has their own unique channels but do share common ones as well.  Output is controlled by simply creating a unique output per location.  Right now I colour code the channels for each location so they are easier to find in the list but they can be all over the place in the list.  If I could move them together, or even better, group them together in a stacked tree that'd make things much more efficient when dealing with dozens or even 100's of stations.

Thanks,

Jon

seconding hype's recommendation.  I have lots of areas that have a need for their own content as well as similar.  I can use the workaround of having multiple outputs in a campaign, but it's messy since i have 20 locations with multiple resolutions in each one.
