An alternativ Youtube video player
« on: March 17, 2013, 05:24:57 AM »
I have been using the web api from youtube for a long time, but did find it to complicated to to update with new video. I did trey to use VLC insted, and it works mutch better, and the video looks better that with the web api.
  • Install VLC on the player
  • Add a ExtApp/capture component to the timeline
  • On AxtApp select custom
  • An app name uou add the path to vls (c:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe)
  • On the command line you add (-I dummy-quiet --fullscreen --audio --volume=200 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1tTN-b5KHg&fmt=34) where N1tTN-b5KHg is the video you wan't to play
You need manual to set the timeline duration to the lenght of the video that you wan't to play.

Any idea on how you can autoplay a playlist, for example Billboard top 50 songs to be played automatically
