HTML component to update hourly
« on: March 05, 2013, 11:31:34 PM »
Hi!

I was wondering whether or not it would be possible to somehow set the refresh rate of HTML components?
I've set up Facebook in a scene (since I had to crop the site), and now it automatically updates itself daily -
but I would like it to update on an hourly scheme. Is that possible?

I don't know if there is a possibility in the SignageStudio - but if you use javascript for exmaple it's very easy to make a refresh

look here:http://www.quackit.com/javascript/javascript_refresh_page.cfm

Thanks for the response.

I am aware of that, as I have done it in other situations, but this time I don't know how to make it work that way  :-\
Since in the other situations it is HTML-pages, that I myself have uploaded, I have been able to make them refresh themselves,
but now that the link in the HTML-component is directly to Facebook, I'm not able to modify the code.
I only know the basics of HTML and JavaScript, so my imagination is kinda limited to my knowledge :-)

Have you got a suggestion of how to get it to work that way around?
