everything stopped this weekend
« on: January 14, 2013, 08:30:29 AM »
I have the signage player app on a  Motorola xoom tablet and had it running on a MK 808 device, both stopped working this past Saturday and I haven't been able to get them running again. the MK808 just shows NOT SUPPORT on the tv screen and the xoom tablet is just showing a blank black screen. anyone have any idea what could have happened?

Did you check to see if your timelines are on a schedule and what was scheduled for this weekend?

My campaign is on a sequence and not scheduled. (it runs all the time unless I physically turn the tv off). nothing had changed on my end, and when I preview it in a browser the campaing runs. it is just not running on either of the two devices for some reason. I did just update adobe air on the tablet this morning, and I cant access the mk808 (drivers I think), but even after updating, it still isn't working on the tablet.

any ideas? I came back and the tv (mk808 unit) had changed to a distorted screen instead of not support.

Turned out to be the Mini HDMI cable with the MK808, still no idea why the xoom tablet isn't displaying the signage.

If you have incorporated proof of play delete the campaigns and redo. During the server migration database has not been ported properly.

Will duplicate work, or do you have to completely redo ALL of the campaigns??

If you have populated the timelines with scenes and if you are able to delete the scenes using the mouse right click and the studio is not hanging then i think you can repopulate, but the problem is the studio will hang and so the best way to avoid is to create campaigns once again
