POP Up Support

My customers are using external websites like you tube, twitter and facebook that use pop ups. When in kiosk mode in the media signage player you should be able to click on these sites and have a separate page come up with the tabs so it can be larger, smaller, closed . I can't use the software for my kiosk project without support for pop ups

Have you tried using the External App Component with Firefox, setting your own browser settings in Firefox?

I am using
Windows 7 Ultimate
Internet Explorer - support for pop ups is enabled

will the other browers work differently when the media signage application does not support pop ups?

with the desktop player software I don't have the option to select the browser. the cusotmer application is a kiosk applications that millions of consumers would use and Internet Explorer is familar to them, so not sure why this is

is the suggestion to delete Internet Explorer and use a different browser? How does the player understand I am using a different browser.

I am not sure if it would help, but there is a video in the tutorial area that goes over external apps.

You will probably be able to use IE still, but this should give you full access to IE and it's functions. Basically this runs IE or any other application within a window. The Firefox video is just an example of using a browser with this component.
