Content (SWFs) not playing entire length
« on: January 05, 2013, 05:55:15 PM »
I have created a SWF that plays for 30 seconds in the flash player. When placed on the timeline, the time it runs is random. I have tried everything I can think of.

~had timeline set for 30 seconds, resource set for 30 seconds in timeline, resource displays 30 seconds for profile
~had timeline set for 31 seconds, resource set for 31 seconds in timeline
~checked off repeat to fit.....

I cannot get it to play for 30 seconds. I have even turned of transitions to see if that would help. Any other suggestions? Right now, it is looking like a bug. Can we squash it??? Where is the Code RAID when you need it. :^)

Are you by any chance comparing the play back on two separate player devices?

I mean using studio on faster computer and using slower device to play it or vice versa.

Playback speed & time of flash content varies from 1 system to next system.  It is hardware dependant.

Or it could be unsupported.

I wish I was comparing them from player to player. If I have a 30 second swf, it will vary on the length of time it actually runs. could be 28 seconds, 25 seconds. Just not 30 all of the time. (30 is just used for the example.)
