Currently if you use the Custom RSS player the player will randomize the RSS items after the timeline "loops". In order to support time-sensitive feeds, the Custom RSS player should have a randomize option [true/false]; which if set to true, would perform it's current option, but if set to false, would start reading the items at the beginning of the feed.
The current "random" functionality was reviewed with your support team and they were able to easily recreate it. They had stated that is how the component was designed and to create a "suggestion" ticket.
Hopefully, this can make it in the software sometime soon, as we have time-sensitive content that needs to be shown.
