I think you can only use swf for this.

I'm having trouble with splash screen as well.  I previously uploaded a swf which worked fine.  Now, I'm trying to upload a new swf and it just keeps going back to the old one.  I re-started the studio, but it's still doing this.... don't know how to fix it.

Please uploaded a pure swf (without embedded AS3 code)

I used the software you guys recommended, freemake, to convert my mp4 to a swf the first time... and it uploaded fine.

Then, I did the exact same thing - used freemake to convert a swf, but that time it didn't work.

So if using the software you recommend doesn't work... can you recommend software that will upload without that embedded code?

Admins tip is irrelevant. If you don't know what Actionscript is (AS3), then you're not using it.
I'd recommend *cough* buying Adobe Flash CS4/CS5 and watch a small tutorial on how to import Mp4.

Thanks for at least responding, HVL... don't always get responses around here... Unfortunately, the higher ups won't agree to finance Flash, so I'm a little stuck.

You can download a full trial version from their site. It is fee for 30 days and if you need longer, I would suggest the Adobe Creative Cloud. You can go month to month  and for one app, it is only $20/month and you can cancel anytime. The first month, you get all of their Creative Suite applications to try.

You can use powerbullet presenter for converting png to swf. It is free.

No problem. I understand. Flash is quite expensive.
I could convert it for you, though? If you upload the .png you want converted into a static .swf somewhere, I'll gladly convert it for you.
