I own and operate a digital billboard on which I sell advertising. SignagePlayer is used to deliver ad content the screen. Critical to my business is delivering Proof of Play analytics to clients at the close of their campaign. Since the ad engine has been disabled, and no target date to enable it has been released, we need a workaround.
MS should include an option for generating analytics on non-ad engine campaigns. This would allow us to accept ad content from clients, manually add it to a campaign, and run the campaign. It would also be helpful if we could assign a percentage of hour (or day or campaign) play time to specific resources such as PNG or MP4 files.
