Mouse Pointer in SWF files?
« on: October 22, 2012, 05:50:58 AM »
I've created several SWF files with Flypaper, and when they are uploaded to the mediaBOX, the mouse pointer is showing.  Is there a way to hide it?  Only happens in the SWF files.

So I just learned from support that this is due to the same limitation with HTML (3rd party SWF files use a HTML wrapper)...so for yet another workaround...

Does anyone have a personal mouse pointer hiding preference?

I wish I had an answer for you on the mouse issue. That was one of a few issues I had with Flypapaper, so I decided to dump it for now. It really is just to easy now to use Flash CS6 that I could not go wrong with it, not to mention that it only costs me $29.00 month total for all of the Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications. I think it is even cheaper if you do not need everything.

I figured it out...it was actually a very simple workaround.

Works like a champ.

Use the code:

Mouse.hide();

in as2 or as3 flash.
