I'm using two side by screen one is running the media signage software and the other one I need to run a ppt presentation. My problem is every time the media signage starts up my 2nd screen turns to black and the ppt can't be seen. Is there any work around for this? Thanks in advance

How do you set it up so that the 2nd monitor will have the ppt and the 1st monitor will have something else from the media signage software?

Use a dual screen setup and either convert the ppt file to a swf or use the powerpoint viewer as an ext app on the second screen division.

we support the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer but it does have some limitations as it requires full screen and licensing from Microsoft.
And so we highly recommend, that you simply spend $40 and get a PPT > SWF convertor (Power Point to Flash converter).

And if you have office 2010,  you can save your PPTX file as a WMV (windows media video) file and then use FREEMAKE (www.freemake.com) to convert it to either a swf or an FLV file. when converted you can add it directly to your timeline instead of using the powerpoint viewer.
