I just completed installing MediaServer and SignageStudio. When clicking on the about menu in SignageStudio it shows version 3.0.1087 which doesn?t include the big selection of resources available in the cloud version that were to be available in 3.1.  It appears that the current cloud version is 3.2. I thought that the Cloud and MediaServer versions were supposed to be the same and the only difference is the MediaServer is hosted locally.  When I run the MediaServer update program is doesn?t pick up anything newer.  How do I get the newer software? Also I read on the forum that 4.0 is to be released in August, August what?   For the product to be useful in my environment I need some of the components included in the 4.0 release.

So I figured out that the version listed on the about window of SignageStudio doesn?t directly correlate with the versions mentioned in the forum, so I?m assuming that I?m running the latest 3.x version, whatever that is, since the update program says there are no updates to install. I also figured out how to download all of the themes. What I?m missing now is the scenes that are available for import on the cloud version which I assumed were available on the MediaServer version. When I click on import in the scene editor I have a blank window.

Import Scenes are not supported yet in the mediaSERVER. It will be after you mediaSERVER is upgraded to 4.0 later on this year.
