Timeline bug in schedule mode?
« on: July 19, 2009, 03:45:07 PM »
Note: This problem occurs in both Web Player and Air Player while in schedule mode only. It does not exist when in sequence mode. I have the current updates.

I have a simple "slideshow" comprised of 30 images on one timeline and which has only one screen division. Each image displays for 10 seconds. For the most part, the scheduler works fine as it plays that first timeline during the hours that I want and then it switches over to a second timeline at a later time. The first timeline also repeats as it should.

The problem is that when I had 24 images in the "slideshow" and it got to the 23rd image, the whole "slideshow" would suddenly speed through all of the images in about three to four seconds. I checked everything and I increased the amount of images to 30 to see if and when it would happen again. Now the timeline speeds through all of the images when it gets to the 29th image. So, this problem is occuring whenever it gets to the second from the last image. It then goes to the last image and it repeats the timeline as it should. But, when it gets to that 29th image again, it does the same thing.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, thank you for reporting. This is a known issue and we have a fix for it in release 2.0

I did a search for when version 2.0 will be released but I could not find it.

When will version 2.0 be released?

When version 1.6 comes out I guess I can just run it in sequence mode and then have the monitor turn off at night and then restart the computer in the morning. The goal is not to have the "slideshow" run after store hours and it needs to be done remotely or automatically through the software. Will this work?

Thanks,

Jeff

We hope to have this bug fixed when release 1.6 is out which is 2-3 weeks away.

David.
