XML component caching
«
on:

I've tested the XML component as instructed in the XML component:
http://www.mediasignage.com/html/signage_video.html?videoNumber=XML%20Component
video and found that the XML that I am using (located in my webpage and linked by a URL) is being cached in the AppData/Roaming/SignageStudio.XXXXXXXXXXXX folder.
Each time I make a change in my XML file it is not updated in the SignageStudio, it is still using the cached XML
The only way to update it it to delete it in the cache folder.
Is there any way of getting a better solution?

Good catch, I will open a bug and we will fix it in the following week so XML Cache will reload even when a single timeline exists...
FYI, if a 2nd timeline exists it will force an unload and reload of XML player and thus reload data as well.

Please check the twitter component also it only plays from the cache and does not load the fresh tweets until changes are made in the studio
