I stumbled upon this by looking for some content ideas on goggle. I must say from what I've seen from the demo it looks very impressive!
The company I work for is very interested in getting digital signage up all over the country at our locations. They went ahead and purchased an expensive cisco digital media server and a few of the players that work with this hardware. It's nice but the built in digital design software is extremely limiting! You really can't do much with it so I'm really struggling to get content that looks decent and moves along somewhat like a power point presentation would. There is no built in timeline functionality so you really can't do much but play one presentation at a time. I guess I'm wondering if is it possible to use this great software along side with this cisco hardware we already have? the players we are using that hook up to the TV's are small boxes that you really can't install any software based client on. I currently have in place 5 damp 4300 series players.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
