Sharepoint Integration
« on: February 13, 2012, 05:47:28 PM »
Anyone done any integration from data within sharepoint?  Many of our current business processes are done in sharepoint and everyone in our company knows it's basic functions. The RSS feeds that are generated form a sharepoint list are not in the ATOM format. There is supposedly a process where we can use the sharepoint Content Query Web Part to generate a custom RSS feed.  Anyone out there done this?

Update - Using Sharepoint 2010, the CQWP RSS feed is working in media signage and the PC based player. There was no need to change the template to ATOM. It is important to note there is a fairly significant difference between using the standard list feed feature and CQWP. The standard list feed provides only a news based template and your data will show the sharepoint [label: Data} if you only want to work with the date in your scenes the CQWP worked better for us.
