Station mode
« on: December 01, 2011, 10:43:32 AM »
Hello,

I am testing mediasignage on different quality of computers
on my slowest computer, I am playing a .mpeg4 file that is 19.6MB on a full screen division with one viewer 1920x1080
when I have the station in "Test station mode" the video runs well
when it is in "Real station mode" the video is choppy

why is this and how can I fix it?

thanks

There should be no difference in these modes.
Release 3.1 coming next month will include GPU video acceleration so it will run super smooth in ALL CPUs.

I couldn't think of a reason why it would be running slower in "Real station mode" either...

But I am glad to hear that it should be fixed in 3.1
