constantly updating media player

Hi all.

Today morning (GMT+6  ) I found that both my screens don't show campain properly. Every 2-3 minutes it stations fail to status  'installing'. On the screen at the same time I see player update window. When progress bar finishes campaign starts for next several minutes.
I tried to manually update air and player, received player version 2.2.2011.
After starting issue happened again. Player initiates update' process every 2-3 minutes.
Another strange thing is that on one computer it always updates to build 2012, and on another - to build 1088...

Thank you for your advice.
Is there a way not to upgrade version, but to start from the very beginning right with 3rd version?
My boss don't like idea to wait  , and, thanks god, I have very small configuratin - it will take really fast to start it again.

of course, that's the whole idea, so you migrate over and don't need to create anything from scratch.
You configuration remains as it was in 2.x.

Thank you for your help, I just finished with 3rd version about half hour ago.
During this i get another issue (see a topic in 'signage player')
and, by the way, why it is so hard to find where to download components of 3rd version on the web site? it was a bit challenge to find a link to a 3rd SignagePlayer

I mean 3rd version of player. Now it is not actual already - you have 3rd version of all components directly from the 'get started page'
