.exe+External video=stuttery video
« on: March 06, 2023, 03:51:28 AM »
Hello.
I have a timeline where I have two screens, on one I have a video with the External video component and on the other an .exe with the ExtApp/Capture component.
The video looks stuttery, as if it were at 10fps.
No matter what .exe you use, vlc, chrome..., it always looks bad.
The video is stored internally on the hard drive and I called via internal server, ISS from windows.
I have lowered the video resolution but the problem continues.
I have tested it with an i7+RTX3070,32GB Windows 10 PRO.
Any solution?

Thank you so much.

the video you are referring to is thru External Video component? note that whether thru resources or external link, the video will be downloaded and played thru the player's video player.  so the only way this can happen is if the video's encoding is till to high for the player (which is actually 32bit)

try to use the following video codec setting:
Video: h.264, 1920x1080 resolution, 24fps framerate, 4mbps bitrate
Audio: acc, 98 to 176 kbps bitrate, 44khz sample rate

best regards
