3G modem problem
« on: September 07, 2011, 09:40:06 AM »
I have problem with 3G USB stick (modem), and desktop signage player. Functioning of the modem is controlled by it's application (initializing, connecting to network, etc). It can be configured to automatically initialize the modem and connect to the network upon computer starts, but it must run all the time after it.
In real station mode, during start up, signage player tries to close all running applications, including this one which controls the modem, and this leads to losing connection to network. Is there any way to avoid this, maybe some kind of exclude list for necessary applications? Any idea is welcome.

correct, you will need to run in "test" mode so the controller does not close your 3G app.
