SignagePlayer Auto-update fail

I have a 1.0x version of the signage player installed. When we launch the program, it automatically auto-updates, it downloads the files and it installs them. However, but when the installation completes and the auto-update window close, it gives me an error:

"An error occurred while updating the application. Try updating it again. If the problem persists, contact the application author."

I also tried to uninstall the program and do a fresh install. However, there was no "Uninstall" button under Add/Remove programs for the application.

So I went ahead and disabled the auto-update feature, temporarily, by changing the setting in the player's xml file.

Since this is such an old version please do the following.

1. Uninstall from Windows Add-Remove Apps
2. Delete C:\Program Files\SignagePlayerAir
3. Re-Install AIRPlayer from: http://mediasignage.com/html/digital_signage_software.html
