How to get started with Webplayer?
« on: July 11, 2011, 05:11:42 AM »
This may be a really silly question but...

I'd like to have a copy of what is running on our digital sign playing on a page on our website and it sounds like the WebPlayer would do this....but I cant find anything on how to make that happen.  Is there some flash code somewhere our site would call out to or what?

Sure, easy to do, just a click of a button as we have the embedded player.
See these:

and this

Found it.  Thanks!

Followup question, is there anyway for the embedded player to scale a campaign?  Ours are formatted 1920x1080 for the real screen but that's too big for a webpage.  I can force the size to 800x600 per your tutorial but that doesn't scale the content, rather it just crops it to the top left corner.

See this:
http://mediasignage.com/html/signage_video.html?videoNumber=MultiScreen

which explains how to create a single campaign that will work on different size / resolution outputs, which in your case is the Embedded player.
