Border Powerpoint viewer
« on: July 05, 2011, 12:39:40 AM »
Hello,

I want to display a Powerpoint in my presentation, but when I use the Powerpoint viewer it has a border at the bottom of the Powerpoint. Is there a way to get rid of that border? I didn't see any borders in the tutorial video, though I don't have sound on this pc, so I may have missed something in the video.

I've added this picture so you can see which border I'm talking about.

Are you running the viewer in full screen?
I had never seen this, maybe other users can comment...
In any case, I would recommend converting the PPT to a SWF for greater flexibility.

This is with the Powerpoint viewer 2010 btw.

The viewer is not full screen, since I want to show other information at the same time as the PPT.
If I use an older version of the viewer the Powerpoint gets cropped. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into converting to SWF and see how that works out.
