Adobe discontinues support for Air on Linux
« on: June 27, 2011, 02:52:29 PM »
I was wondering what the future of the SignagePlayer will be with Adobe no longer supporting Air on Linux. Should I start using Windows machines or will there be a solution for this?

Our current version of the SignagePlayer 3.0 will continue and operate under Linux using AIR 2.6 but you will not be able to take advantage of some of the new features post 3.1

Unfortunately, this would be the case... good thing is.. we now have the android app available for beta testing in the android market..  so this might be the next step for linux users.
