USB License Key options
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:03:30 AM »
I'm interested in hosting my own server, however for reliability I always lease my servers with companies that house them in secure locations with redundant power and internet connections.  Over the years I have migrated from 3 different server companies and my server has literally moved from LA to Boston to Dallas which makes the USB key undesirable, not to mention I would have no control over it.

I know the usb key is your licensing model and was wondering if there is a way to avoid that or if there is a way that the usb license key could be stored on a server locally while all of the data and web services could be at an offsite location for the redundancy that I would need.  It's not a hardware issue, it simply an internet and power reliability issue at my office that makes it impossible to host in house.

We have many customers that use Verio which is one of the largest ISP providers in the US.

They are GREAT! and we do work directly with them and so they have certified and approve our mediaKEY to be connected to the dedicated private server. So let us know via email if you need a contact person @ Verio.com for hosting your own private server!
